I did. Now, it was great. Unfortunately, since this economy has just gotten worse and worse for me, it didn't end up resolving the problem because I'm back where I was - I've used up all of the money I was lent, I'm still broke and I owe seemingly everyone.

BUT, my sister has a great deal of money set aside. And she trusts and loves me. So she lent me some money.

Of course, I owe her, but it's at a FAR lessor rate than the bank was going to charge. And she and I worked out an "open ended" deal. She doesn't need the money so "at some point" I'll pay her back. And I'll pay her more than her money market was paying, but less than a credit card finance rate or whatever. So maybe 5 or 6%.


Now, your family may not be as "easy" but you might ask them. MAKE SURE that they can be without the money for several years b/c this thing is not going to end tomorrow, but you might want to ask...
