Turn off the computer. Unplug the toaster.

Are you leaving for a long time? Unplug practically everything! DVR, VCR, etc. Turn the heat or air off or way down.


And TURN DOWN THE HOT WATER HEATER! If you have even a decent HWH, you can turn it WAY down and still have a comfortable shower. Of course, remember, if you do that, to run the water to get it hot enough before running your Dishwasher or you might not end up with clean dishes. But if you don't run it often, you should consider it.

My Sad Little Blog....

Not that anyone was reading it anyway, but I feel terribly guilty that I have neglected her so over the last month+.

I have 5 jobs so, obviously, I've got minimal time. I actually quit one of my jobs today. I gave two weeks notice, but I just couldn't do it anymore. It was just two afternoons a week for 3 hours each, but it was quite a drive and was crammed in between two other things on each side and the money wasn't that great. I had an opportunity to work tomorrow for twice as much and had to decline it. And my "most-money" job has an opportunity for more hours, so I just had to do it.

I'm moving the blog up higher on the list.
